Planes and Helicopters of Thailand – Air Force Museum in Bangkok

Hey guys! Do you like planes and
helicopters? Well, me too! And today I’m going to show you a huge collection of modern and antique aircraft of Thailand Sounds interesting? Then keep watching! The Royal Thai Air Force Museum is a quite large and interesting aircraft collection hidden away from most of tourists, and located near Bangkok’s Don Mueang Airport. Here you will find a plenty of planes and helicopters, which had been in use of Thai airforce, starting from the beginning of 20th century, and you may even climb into the cockpits of a few of them. When I was at the museum, it was almost empty; there was just a couple Thai visitors but not even a one foreigner in sight. And this was a pure pleasure to me, as you know it’s quite hard to find an attraction or an interesting place in Bangkok that won’t be overcrowded with tourists. Plus entry here is completely free. The museum was established in the middle of last century to collect, preserve and restore different airplanes and other aviation equipment used by the Royal Thai Air Force. Not all of the air planes are Thai made – also they have got some aircraft from other countries. The exhibits at the museum include many types of aircraft rarely found anywhere else in the world. They are displayed outside and inside of the museum, in different state of condition, but most of them are just amazing. And to my surprise, they’ve got a huge helicopter section also open for all visitors, where you are allowed to get inside few of those metal machines.. which is really awesome! The Royal Thai Airforce Museum is a great place for anyone with an interest in aviation, or anyone who just likes planes, for both adults and children. The museum closes at 4 p.m. and I recommend you to come earlier, so you could spend a few hours exploring the aircraft Well, guys, that’s!
