USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) ⚔️ Aircraft Carrier of the United States Navy [Review]

USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) is the fifth
Nimitz-class aircraft carrier in the United States Navy. She is the second Navy ship to have been named
after former President Abraham Lincoln. Her home port is Norfolk, Virginia, and she
is a member of the United States Atlantic Fleet. She is administratively responsible to Commander,
Naval Air Forces Atlantic, and, operationally served as the flagship of Carrier Strike Group
Nine and host to Carrier Air Wing Two until 2012. She is currently undergoing a four-year Refueling
and Complex Overhaul process. Weapons aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln include
two Mk 57 Mod3 Sea Sparrow surface to air missile launchers, two RIM-116 Rolling Airframe
Missile short range surface to air missile launchers and three Phalanx Close-In Weapon
Systems. Raytheon Technical Services was awarded a
$7.2m contract in December 2012 to upgrade the Mk 57 Mod3 Sea Sparrow surface to air
missile launchers. The contract includes the supply of associated
test, ancillary and support equipment. USS Abraham Lincoln carries nine squadrons
consisting of two Super Hornet fighter bombers, two Hornet fighter bombers, one E-2 Hawkeye
early warning fix wing, one EA-6B Prowlers, one greyhound logistical support aircraft
and two SH-60 Seahawk attack helicopters. USS Abraham Lincoln began a fourth deployment
in June 1998. Once again, the ship headed for the Persian
Gulf in support of operation Southern Watch. During this deployment, the USS Abraham Lincoln
carrier battle group launched Tomahawk cruise missiles against two sites. The first was a Sudanese pharmaceutical factory
suspected of assisting Osama Bin Laden in making chemical weapons. The second was Bin Laden’s terrorist training
camps in Afghanistan. These strikes were ordered by President Clinton
thirteen days after terrorists bombed the US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania and was
codenamed Operation Infinite Reach. USS Abraham Lincoln was awarded the Armed
Forces Expeditionary Medal, and USS Abraham Lincoln carrier battle group the Meritorious
Unit Commendation ribbon for its participation.

Liked the info; absolutely detested the background "music". It reminded me of the noise prisoners of war have to endure. It also sounds very much like mind control, subliminally embedded, quasi MK Ultra stuff. Do you get the fact that I found it offensive. The question is what is your purpose for the distraction? Sinister, or personal preference? Rethink it if you are assuming it adds something to your video. It kept me from LIKING you. If you have been military, you probably know that this type of music is a substitute for the massive adrenalin rushes you have lived with. What you may not have been told is that it will probably undermine your balance, or put another way, your peace.

Thanks for the insightful info and your time. I wish you well.

I know in the subs it is fixed, but I was thrown off when you mentioned CVN-72 beginning her fourth deployment in June of 1988. Glad to see it was corrected in the subtitles however. Diggin the short5 min tops reviews. Keep it up!
